About Fintastic
We are an unincorporated association based in the UK, raising both money and awareness for the issue that is shark finning. We were founded on the 24th November 2018, and we have been fundraising ever since. All our profits will be sent to Love the Oceans, a non-profit organisation based in Guinjata Bay, Mozambique, of which we are a supporting partner.
Meet The Team
Gabby Dupuis: CEO and Co-Founder
Aspiring marine biologist Gabby is looking to go into conservation work in the future. She co-founded Fintastic on 24/11/18 whilst studying her A Levels in Guildford, Surrey. She's always been passionate about sharks and the ocean, and her dream is to have her own Nature TV Show. She is currently in her second year, studying Biology at Newcastle University. She enjoys Snorkelling and Scuba Diving in her free time, and also has a great interest in the environment.
Phoebe Simpson: Co-Founder
Phoebe is currently studying Graphic Design at the University of Edinburgh. She was able to showcase her creativity through her input into designing the Fintastic website and logo. She co-founded Fintastic on 24/11/18 whilst studying her A Levels in Guildford, Surrey. Phoebe is very aware of the current climate crisis and is therefore keen to get involved in combating the many issues it presents. She looks to use her position in the organisation to make our generation join the movement and act fast.
